Marie-Clare Vintage are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. MCV have been trading since 2005 and selling vintage fripperies by mail order since 2010. We carry a wide range of eclectic stock and we aim to provide a fast and efficient mail order service.

Welcome to the Marie-Clare Vintage terms and conditions. This legal notice applies to the contents under the website domain name of http://www.marieclarevintage.com & http://www.marieclarevintageco.uk
Please read the terms and conditions carefully. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of the site, you may not use this website.
We reserve the right to review the terms and conditions from time to time and may amend at our discretion. We would advise that you therefore periodically review the terms and conditions set out for this website.

Making A Purchase

​

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Shop, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
If you are shopping from Overseas, place your order and your payment provider will convert the transaction to your own currency using the exchange rate applicable at the time. (Orders from outside the UK can be paid via PayPal)
We accept Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Paypal & Apple Pay.

We are committed to providing quality products at competitive prices from trusted suppliers. Our prices are regularly reviewed to ensure we provide our customers with good value at a competitive and fair price.

From time to time our prices may increase or decrease due to market forces outside of our control. There are many reasons that can affect prices from raw material cost, production schedules, exchange rates and transportation. These all lead to price increases or decreases.

Tax Charges

All orders include VAT at 20%.

Exports (including those to the EU) may be liable to import duties and domestic taxes which must be paid on receipt and over which we have no control.

Credit Card Security

Our shopping cart is totaly secure and is held on a secure server. Credit/Debit Card Payments are taken through our secure payment service provider, Wix Payments. This system is in-line with the latest best practise and your card details are not submited to, or held by, Marie-Clare Vintage.

Guarantee

​

Our aim is to try and guarantee your satisfaction and to this end we endeavour to check that all items are correct before despatch. In the unlikely event that there is something wrong with the order we will try and rectify the problem as quickly as possible. If an item is found to be defective upon receipt, we will replace it at our expense as soon as we receive the faulty item back. To arrange this just call us on 07977846509 within 7 working days of receipt and speak to any of our sales staff. If preferred, you can email us at marieclarevintage@gmail.com.  

Warranty & Guarantee - Most of our products come with a full manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defect, normally for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please note this warranty only covers faults caused by manufacturing defect and will not cover any faults which are a result of neglect, misuse, modification or general wear and tear. If a product becomes faulty during use please contact us and we will advise you how to make a warranty claim. (This does not affect your statutory rights).

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason then you may return it to us for an exchange or refund. You have 14 days from receiving the product, within which time you may return it. Please notify us before returning the item and make sure to include your name, address and instructions with the returned item.

The cost of the goods and the standard delivery charge, if any, will be refunded, so long as the goods are unused and in saleable condition. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the goods are of resalable condition before being returned. We retain the right to deduct upto 20% of the value of the goods if the goods returned are deemed unfit for resale.

Your postage charges for the return of the goods will not be refunded and the goods are your responsibility until received by us. For returning expensive items we recommend that you use registered post.


Complaints

If for any reason you are not totally happy with our goods or services and have a complaint, please email us at marieclarevintage@gmail.com. All complaints will be acknowledged personally, within 5 working days. We will endeavour to reach a solution with you within 7 working days. All complaints will be logged so that we can monitor them for internal usage only.

Please be aware that we will only ever contact customers requesting confirmation of account details if your card is declined at the point of payment, or in certain circumstances when a refund to your card is required.
We will never ask you for your password.
We advise you never to enter your account number or password into an email or after following a link from an email.

Returns Policy
